Bridge For All

Bridge for All is a non-profit organization that was created in 2015 with the support of community leaders, committed teachers, young volunteers and religious leaders. The objective of the organization is to strengthen the skills of young people to enable them to become caring, competent and responsible citizens in the development of the country.

Bridge for All is a non-profit organization created in 2015 by community leaders, committed teachers, young volunteers, and religious leaders. The objective of the organization is to strengthen the skills of young people to enable them to become caring, competent and responsible citizens in the development of the country.

The structure has developed two intensive learning programs, English immersion and face-to-face (food and accommodation provided) for periods of 6 and 12 months. These programs are intended for about sixty young people who have completed high school.

The training is based on the teaching of English, computer science, social sciences and the development of community projects.

During the summer, students return to their home villages to set up summer schools and share the benefits of their learning with children from villages in the country’s ethnic regions.

The volunteer’s missions will consist of:

  • Support English learning: Volunteers take part in the organization of complementary activities to the traditional races that facilitates the integration of English by students, These activities can take the form of debates, in practical situation, watching movies in English … 
  • Participation in extra-curricular activities: volunteers participate in the life of the learning center and in particular sports activities (training, tournaments), cultural (enhancement of local culture, cooking) or artistic (music, dance).
  • School support: volunteers participate in school and help with homework, as well as individual support for students in their personal and professional projects 
  • Participation in community projects: volunteers support members of the organization and students in the implementation of development projects (summer school, renovations, construction) in rural villages or partner schools.

Training:  University Education in Social Sciences, Political Science, English, Law

Languages: A good level of English is necessary.

Required qualities:

  • A command of English is necessary.
  • Taste for the transmission of knowledge, strong intercultural sharing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Openness, ability to listen and patience adaptability.
