What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme for education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The programme enables young people under the age of 30 to benefit from international mobility to enhance their skills, and also helps organisations working in international partnerships to share innovative practices in the fields of education, training and youth.

Our objectives

In view of the contemporary challenge of European civic participation, it is necessary to provide appropriate solutions and enhanced support for young people, who often have little access to European integration. AIME is committed to developing European citizenship among young people.

For young people, making themselves useful and getting involved in meaningful projects is a way of boosting their skills and an important moment in defining their personal and professional projects. Drawing on our in-depth knowledge of supporting young people with fewer opportunities and our complementary expertise in the field of local and international solidarity, we propose to turn the experience of commitment and citizenship into a path of discovery and socio-professional integration.

CEVY Project

The CEVY project is in partnership with Portugal, Greece and Hungary.

The aim of the project is to promote civic engagement among young people with fewer opportunities, in order to make it a lever for socio-professional integration.

The project will include a study providing an overview of the issues surrounding civic engagement among young people and youth workers, a series of workshops, a cultural exchange in Greece, and the development of an engagement guide to bring together opportunities for engagement at European level.

INTER-EU

The INTER-EU project is in partnership with Northern Macedonia.

The project offers 10 young people the chance to get involved at local level by taking part in a series of workshops developed by AIME, combining discovery, curiosity, awareness-raising and a direct impact on citizenship, interculturality and sustainable development.

In the second phase, the young people will make a European commitment through a 5-day intercultural immersion in Northern Macedonia in the summer of 2024.
