Committed to the battle of the imagination, the Institut des Futurs souhaitables (IFs) is aimed at all those who want to seize the opportunity to invent a more desirable world by offering them keys to understanding the present, creative weapons for taking action and the hospitality of a living, active community. After more than 10 years of educational experimentation, particularly in the field of vocational training via its subsidiary Pro idea, the Institut wishes to put its know-how at the service of as many people as possible and contribute to the development of a popular education adapted to the challenges of our time.

In January 2023, IFs launched Epop&, a free, permanent programme of lectures, workshops and learning walks for the widest possible audience.

The mission

• Helping to design the programme for Epop, the people’s university: examining proposals for talks, researching and meeting potential speakers according to the quarterly themes envisaged. Participation in discussions on A) the 16-25 age group offer B) the “popular public” offer.
• Assistance with the organisation of events (conferences, workshops, learning walks, micro-adventures, etc.): 1 per week in 2023, 1 to 2 per week in 2024. Dialogue with participants (before/after), setting up venues, welcoming them on site, etc.
• Help with monitoring foundation calls for projects
• Occasional assistance with other IFs general interest projects
