Description of the partner

Plastic Punch promote circular economy and environmental preservation, particularly marine conservation, to support sustainable development impacting future generations.

Inspire behavioral change through citizen science and awareness raising towards sustainable waste management practices with emphasis on reducing plastic pollution.

The mission

Volunteers at Plastic Punch will carry out the following activities, in support of local team members :

  • Engaging and aiding in the citizen engagement activities of the NGO e.g. beach cleanups
  • Aiding in research into turtle monitoring and/ or alternative packaging
  • Aiding the NGO in collaborating and closely working with schools and communities to improve waste management
  • Supporting communication activities
  • Aiding in the fulfillment of administrative tasks as specified by the NGO
Candidate profile

Training :

No training, specific skills, prior professional or volunteer experience can be required. Motivation is the only criterion that must really be taken into account in the context of Civic Service.

Profile :

Adherence to and sensitivity to the cause of protecting the environment and the oceans, and reducing waste. Profile also sensitive to the scientific aspect. Ability to work independently and to teach are a plus.
