Description of the partner

Since it was founded, Imagine le Monde has been committed to helping people in vulnerable situations to integrate and become independent. It offers children and young people (some of whom are disabled) access to education, cultural and sporting activities to help them develop and prepare them for integration into society. It works to improve the living conditions of families in difficulty, in particular by encouraging the empowerment of women (literacy, sewing training, etc.).

The mission
  • Support in promoting the association’s activities: The volunteer will support the local team in promoting the association’s activities by creating visual and audiovisual content on social networks. He/she will also be involved in writing the quarterly newsletter and articles for the association’s website.
  • Support for educational and leisure activities: The volunteer will take part in activities aimed at children, such as reading and cultural activities.
  • Support for awareness-raising activities: The volunteer will help to organise awareness-raising workshops on various social issues (early pregnancy in schools, consent, addiction, difficulties at school, disability, etc.) for young people and women being monitored by the association.
  • Helping to organise events: The volunteer may be called upon to help organise the association’s events, such as the education festival (July), the Christmas tree, fund-raising events, educational outings or professional forums, etc.

  • Cheerful, dynamic, inspiring
  • A liking for communication is appreciated
  • Sensitivity to women’s issues
  • Preference will be given to profiles with experience of working with young people with disabilities
  • Strong initiative and pro-activity, but also patience and listening skills.
  • Sensitivity to working with children.
  • Capacity for resilience and adaptability to different living conditions.
