Description of the partner
The Pan-African Ki-Yi Mbock Foundation is located in the village of Ki-Yi in Ivory Coast. Its aim is to encourage young people to create and develop through culture, by teaching them arts and crafts (performing, visual and plastic arts, audiovisual and digital arts), and to help them reintegrate into society by supporting them in their professional careers.
The idea is to provide them with sufficiently effective artistic training to strengthen their self-confidence and faith in their ability to create a better future for themselves in a responsible manner.
Another goal of the Foundation’s is to promote the circulation of African artists and their work throughout Africa and the world.
Beyond the cultural aspect, the Foundation fights for greater social justice. It defends art and culture as a means of reducing juvenile delinquency.
The mission is exclusively a Civic Service assignment, lasting from 6 to 12 months.
