Description of the partner
J’accueille was born of two observations. On the one hand, thousands of refugees enjoying France’s protection currently find themselves without a stable housing solution. On the other hand, thousands of citizens wish to open their door to a refugee for periods ranging from a few weeks to a year.
The aim of J’accueille is to put people who have a room available for a few months in touch with refugees who have no accommodation solution, so that the latter can acquire the temporary stability they need to devote themselves entirely to their projects (resuming their studies, looking for a job, finding accommodation).
The mission
You will be given a wide range of tasks as part of a dynamic team and a fast-growing association:
- Helping to organise face-to-face meetings with potential hosts and guests to inform them about the programme
- Support in setting up their living arrangements: defining their expectations and the framework they want to put in place
- Helping to put hosts and guests in touch with each other (and follow up) and assisting with their first meeting
- Contribute to regular telephone follow-up and the co-organisation of meetings between participants
