Village d’Enfants de Grasi, Fondation CARITAS Lettonie is an association that has developed projects in France and around the world to help disadvantaged children and promote interculturality and solidarity on a European scale.
In Latvia, the Grasi Children’s Village was created over 20 years ago, and is today considered a model establishment in the field of child aid.
The mission
- Support for children’s activities: volunteers support the local team in organizing recreational workshops and sports, cultural and artistic activities. The Children’s Village will provide volunteers with the means to fulfill their mission of accompanying, listening to and accompanying the children and the teaching team, as well as meeting the local population through outdoor activities and excursions.
- Participate in the day-to-day life of the local association, the Village d’Enfant: volunteers gain experience in working with associations and professionals committed to protecting children’s rights.
- Participate in community activities: volunteers contribute to the animation of the children’s community, to reinforce the spirit of cohesion and support.
